Starlin Castro hits another home run, continues positively torrid start

Starlin Blastro. Darlin’ Castro. Gnarlin’ Nastro. Whatever you want to call this guy, he’s absolutely on fire.

Castro left the yard for the second time this season in the fourth inning of Thursday’s game to help the Yankees draw within one run of the Astros at the time. He went after an 86 mph cutter from Mike Fiers on 3-1, and hit it 390 feet according to Statcast.

Game 3 Recap: Teixeira wins it in the seventh

It was Castro’s seventh hit in 10 at bats, and gave him a league-leading eight RBIs. Oh, and he’s been punishing the ball; his dinger on Thursday left his bat at 104 mph.
