It’s not likely having a more flexible bench player makes a discernible difference in the Yanks record. Could also help if Judge needs more seasoning at AAA, with Holiday going to OF and Carter being the main DH.

That includes an already injured Austin, as well as a guy, Greg Bird, who is coming off a major shoulder surgery. It’s a one year deal, and a good signing. The thing I can’t understand is allowing Chris Parmelee to walk, a guy who provided depth at the position, who signed a MiL deal with Oakland?
