The front shoulder flying open was the problem, especially from the left side. He’s not the defensive gem the Yanks told us he was, either. His arm is strong, but inaccurate. Five tools? No speed, no arm accuracy, no real power. He’s a fourth outfielder who has a bad hamstring. His season could be over, today. I’d rather have seen Slade Heathcott get a shot at the job given to Hicks.
